John Densmore (drummer, The Doors)
for inaugural REEL INDIE FILM FESTIVAL
(October 8, 2013 – Toronto) To kick off the industry events at the Eaton Chelsea Hotel (33 Gerrard St. W.) The Doors drummer John Densmore will give the keynote address at the 2013 edition of REEL INDIE FILM FESTIVAL (RiFF) Panels. Densmore joins the list of 27 panelists speaking at this year’s inaugural festival covering topics on music, film, and digital platforms.
Densmore’s talk on Thursday October 17th in the Gerrard Room at 11:00AM will follow the World Premier of his film Window of Opportunity, a dark comedy/thriller about greed and the corporate world, produced by John Densmore and written and directed by Samuel Warren Joseph. The film will be presented as a “special presentation” Wednesday October 16th at 9:30PM at the Royal (608 College St.). Densmore and Joseph will be in attendance at the screening and take part in a Q+A following the screening.
