Title: Jesse And The Fountain of Youth
Director: Tracey Anarella
Category: Movie Shorts
In “Jesse and The Fountain of Youth” we meet Jesse Cohen, a subway performer trying to break free of busking.
Jesse performs his electrifying, resonant song at “The Busker’s Ball” in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It takes us through the different aspects of Jesse’s life.
Jesse moves closer to his goal of performing above ground; he negotiates the line between busking and advancing his career as an above ground performer; a dilemma as old as busking itself.
